FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Your Questions Answered

IS FENCING A DANGEROUS SPORT?

No, fencing is not more dangerous than any other sport. At all times coaches make sure that athletes can train in a safe environment and use all the required protective gear. Bruises can happen from time to time, but they are a normal part of an athlete life.

ONE TO ONE LESSON: CAN I BOOK MULTIPLE TIME SLOTS FOR THE SAME DAY?

Yes, you can. Go to the ClubEvent app and buy as many tickets as you like to book different time slots. You can also buy different tickets with different coaches, just make sure you do not buy the same time slot with two different coaches.

HOW DO I JOIN THE CLUB?

Joining the club requires a two steps process. First download the registration form, fill it and send it to us. Then wait for our confirmation email where we will give you a unique code.
With the code register on the website and then purchase the membership plan you prefer.

CAN I PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE MEMBERSHIP FROM MY WEBSITE ACCOUNT?

Yes, you can. Buy your first membership, then repeat the process for the second one. After the purchase, allow few minutes to receive your confirmation email.

CAN I ENTER COMPETITIONS WITH A LEGACY OR SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP?

Yes, you can. You do not need a Competitive membership to enter competitions, but you need a Complete British Fencing membership.

I WANT TO ENTRY A COMPETITION, WILL THE CLUB SUPPORT ME?

Yes! Our club is a competitive one and coaches are ready to support fencers during competitions.
At the beginning of the season the club will post a list of competitions coaches will support, but fencers are welcome to ask for our support for competitions not on the list.

DO I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA TO RECEIVE SUPPORT DURING A COMPETITION?

Our coaches do their best to support all of our fencers, but sometimes the expenses to send one or both our coaches to a competition are too high. This is why we ask a small contribution to fencers who are entering a supported competition.
